Effective review writing is a very important skill. I really believe that every blogger should posses in some form the ability to write an interesting review which stimulates the senses of the reader based on the content within and the niche which it is related.

One of the cardinal sins so to speak is to write entirely to many, or in some rare cases having a site which specificly does just reviews. These are the worst as your opinion becomes so devalued at this point that your wasting your time. Unless I suppose your doing a pay per post type deal and then please kiss any Google PR you have goodbye.

It does not take to much in the form of writing or literary skills to asess a product, site or anything for that matter. Remember you need to keep a consistent and neutral tone through out the post untill bringing it to a close and wrapping it in a nice neat bow for your reader. This is where you will reveal exactly how you feel based on the facts you decided were important to list.

I advise you to air on the side of caution when reviewing and going for only the best products and sites. Keep your repitor small and related. This will be important later when you graduate to things like conventions and real hardware/software items. Another thing which goes hand in hand later in your blogs life which I mentioned in an earlier post about getting what you want, is to be able to send out requests which are confident, clear and relay the feeling that it really is a great idea for them to oblige you with a sample or demo to review. When you reach this stage you will be doing very interesting things.

In my expereince these all coincide with your blogs reach, your personal growth as a blogger and further refinement of your own craft, niche, theme, etc. Never stop trying to improve.

This can also serve as a vessel which can promote your overall adeptness at writing and keeping things interesting that may generally be not worth knowing. When you can sail this ship you will definately be earning respect and be sought out by the plethora of respectable peddlers looking for those worthy of reviewing their products.

By the way… Everyone does a review for tnx.net… Its required and earns you your first $25… :)
